The office-park slice behind Cyber City — Silokhera village, mid-market corporate stays, cheap and functional.

DLF Phase 3 is Cyber City's back garden. It sits north of NH-48 (unlike the other DLF phases south of it), wrapping around Silokhera village and hosting the older office buildings — Building 14, US Technology Park, Corporate Greens — that got developed before Cyber City had its current shape. It's less polished than Cyber City proper, cheaper by 20-30% on hotels, and functional for anyone whose meetings are actually in these buildings.

Character-wise it's the ragged edge — Silokhera village pushes right up against the office towers, with dhabas, chai shops and hardware stores five feet from a corporate lobby. Some travellers find this jarring; some find it the most honest slice of Gurugram in the whole city. Rooms ₹8082-₹12361 in mid-tier chains. Skip if you want any pretence of premium finish; embrace if you want a functional business base and ₹4754 saved per night for your CSR-conference budget.

By 9pm the DLF Phase 3 stretch along the service road empties out fast — office traffic clears by 8, the dhabas near Silokhera shut their tandoors by 10, and the metro strip goes quiet outside the hotel lobbies. It suits corporate travellers on fixed meeting schedules, CSR and NGO teams working out of the smaller office blocks, and anyone happy to trade a rooftop bar for an early night and a lower bill. It does not suit anyone chasing Gurugram's nightlife — that's a 20-minute Uber south into Cyber Hub or Sector 29, not a walk.

First-timers sometimes book Phase 3 expecting Cyber City proximity and find themselves squinting at Google Maps trying to work out which internal road their hotel sits on — numbering is inconsistent and not every building has visible signage. If your meetings are genuinely in Building 14, US Technology Park or Corporate Greens, staying here saves the daily skywalk crossing. If your meetings are actually in Cyber Hub or on Golf Course Road, book there instead and treat Phase 3 as a curiosity, not a base.

Where to stay in DLF Phase 3

The Guru Dronacharya metro strip is the best base — Country Inn, Lemon Tree, Red Fox all within 300m of the station and 15 minutes walk from Cyber City proper. ₹7607-₹11411 midweek. Avoid the deeper interior towards Silokhera village unless you're specifically going for the local-immersion experience; internal roads are poor and Ubers struggle with navigation. High season, October through March, pushes the same rooms to ₹9500-₹13800 a night; the humid June-August low season can bring them down to ₹6800 if booked direct. Skip anything listed as Phase 3 that sits more than 800m from the metro strip — the internal roads get worse fast and the walk to any useful landmark stretches past 20 minutes in the heat. Stick to the metro-strip cluster and confirm the exact building name with the hotel before arrival.
